In 2004, my beloved mother began to show signs of dementia, as her memory began failing. My sister brought a large box filled with 50+ years of pictures to me and asked that I put them together in some type of book that Mom could look at and reminisce. I had never done anything with pictures except place them in old-fashioned magnetic albums. The most difficult task was sorting through and organizing all of those pictures, and selecting which pictures to use in the book. Once that was accomplished, my creative side took over and I made a beautiful scrapbook for our mother. She spent many hours paging through the book time and time again.
Thereafter, my sister, who adopted two little girls from China, asked me to design "lifebooks" for each of her daughters. These books tell the story of their lives in China before they came to their forever home in the United States. My passion for scrapbooking took off from there.
In 2007, I joined a direct sales scrapbooking company so that I could offer a full array of products and services. In 2008 I joined two additional companies. I Remember When will be the main focus of my scrapbooking business, but I will be able to provide products from other companies as well.
Regardless of which product line you prefer, it is my goal to help you to preserve the special moments in your lives. Today's beautiful moments make tomorrow's beautiful memories.
